Kepala Canine Country Club and Swim Centre, Melbourne
I have discovered a wonderful place where you can give your dog his or her Best Ever day out. Kepala Canine Country Club is a purpose built 'pet resort' which offers fun activities for you and your pooch is a safe, controlled environment.
There is agility equipment, a sand run, indoor heated rehabilitation pool, an outdoor lagoon pool ( featured in photos) and plenty more. You book the area that you want to use and it is all yours for the designated time. On my first visit there was a party of Golden Retrievers hanging out poolside, all having an absolute ball- too cute!
The Lagoon Pool has been a HUGE hit with both my dogs- they love dog paddle racing and I can relax for once knowing they are in a fully fenced, safe enviroment. Swimming is great exercise for Toby now that he is getting older and young Archie loves it too- I feel guilty every time I have to drag them out of the pool.
The Country Club has been invaluable to me due to the fully fenced off leash exercise areas. This has allowed me to train my young dog Archie in an area where I feel safe knowing he can not run off as he is at an age where he is easily distracted.
There are also hydrobaths to wash your dog afterwards as well as boarding facilities.
